Wagner Family Reunion beginnings....

     The Wagner Family reunion was originally thought of by Cora Wagner Jones of Cincinnati, Ohio, while attending the funeral of her brother, James H. Hunter in Danville, Kentucky on May 22, 1969.
     During the year 1969, Cora discussed with her sister Hattie Wagner Jones of Louisville, Kentucky, that the family never got together unless it was on a sad occasion and suggested that the family should have a reunion. The two (Cora and Hattie) then talked this over with their brother, Rev. Clarence Wagner of Cincinnati, Ohio and he too agreed that a family reunion should be held. The three agreed that the first Wagner Family Reunion be held in Campbellsville, Kentucky on the first Saturday in the month of August of 1970. Thus, the beginning of the Wagner Family Reunions. 
     Forty years later, in 2009, a group of cousins were talking about the fun they have had on cruises. They wanted to take the family to the high seas and have the same experience. In this upcoming cruise we will bring a new horizon (literally) to the family experience.
